Emergency Support Program
One of our primary objectives is to enhance the well-being of Vietnamese immigrants by offering services that assist newcomers and temporary visa holders in settling down in the Northern Territory. One of our significant community support initiatives is the Emergency Support Program (ESP).
The ESP plays a crucial role in our community by providing assistance to individuals experiencing vehicle-related difficulties, such as flat tires or dead batteries. Our ESP team, currently comprising three sub-teams based in Darwin City, Casuarina, and Palmerston, has provided numerous supports to those with vehicles experiencing breakdowns due to flat tires or batteries.
Our working hours for this program include:
- Weekdays: 6 to 9 PM
- Weekends.
Please contact Marvin (0487 346 855), Khoa (Ben) (0412 908 821) if you’re near Darwin City, or contact Nam (0406 805 542) if you’re around the Casuarina area, and contact Duong (08 8981 9482) when you’re around the Palmerston area. If you’re located in other areas, please contact Khoa for more information.
AVFA would like to express our gratitude to Bunnings Palmerston for supporting the program and sponsoring the Jumpstart kits so we can help more people!
* Disclaimer: All volunteers participating in ESP are not professional or trained mechanics. Therefore, the ESP program will only be limited to support for patching tires, flat tires or dead batteries. If your car needs other support, please contact professional car repair shops.
